FANTASYLAND
0100-11101 THE
NAUTILUS
It looks to me like the sub in this view was about ready
for a re-hab when this photo was taken look at the rust
around those rivets!
0100-11102 SKYWAY
OVER FANTASYLAND
Not only a good view of the Skyway, but one of the only
views of the facade of It's A Small World.

AND CAROUSEL
TOMORROWLAND
Tomorrowland continued it's tradition of being
under-represented in postcards at the Magic Kingdom though
not by as much as in previous series, much of that though
is because of the lessened emphasis on attractions in this
series, so in this case the views dedicated to Tomorrowland
attractions when the series first came out ties
Frontierland, which had the second fewest views in the
first series as well (both started with two in this series
the reason only one is pictured here is that the other was
a repeat from the previous postcard series).
0100-11201
TOMORROWLAND
The Star Jets were about halfway through their 19 years of
operation when this photo was taken. When the similar Astro
Orbiter attraction replaced it in 1995 not all of the old
attraction went to waste. According to Lou Mongello Author
of the Walt Disney World Trivia book and web master of
http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com:
"When it closed in 1993, the center was removed, painted
green camouflage, and used in the TV series Thunder in
Paradise which was filmed at Disney-MGM studios (It can
now be found in the Studios' "Bone Yard.")
ADVENTURELAND
0100-11302
PLUNDERING PIRATES
The two other Adventureland post cards issued in this
series reprint cards that were printed in the standard
sized series. Still the print of the Pirates in the Jail
Cell in this series is a much clearer print, it was taken
from exactly the same angle, is cropped close to the
earlier version, and everything is in the exact same place,
even those audio animatronic parts which are designed to
move. So, I suspect it is still from the same negative, but
the color has just been adjusted much better in this
printing than any of the copies I have in the standard size
version.
0100-11303 PIRATES OF THE
CARIBBEAN
FRONTIERLAND
0100-11401 COUNTRY
BEAR CURTAIN CALL
Although similar to a card
from the first post card series this one is
different.
0100-11401 GRIZZLY
HALL CURTAIN CALL
This card replaced the Country Bear Curtain Call card to
reflect the change to the Vacation Hoedown version of the
show that played at WDW for a few years.
0100-110402 BIG
THUNDER MOUNTAIN RAILROAD
Though clearly a different image than the one standard size
view of this attraction, they managed to catch the train in
almost the exact same spot.
LIBERTY SQUARE
0100-11500 THE
RIVERS OF AMERICA
By the time this card was Released this twin Smokestack
steam ship had been retired, leaving the Richard F Irvine,
which has a single stack, to ply the waters of the Rivers
of America.
