Here we have a card that had a new version for
yet another reason, though you could also look at it as a
combination of two previous reasons, "a new outfit", and a new
attraction. The new attraction was in reality a re-vamp of an old
favorite. The Country Bear Jamboree had been an early favorite at
the Magic Kingdom, so much so that it often had long lines,
perhaps, that was part of the reason for developing a new show,
after all a new show would not only give a new experience for
folks whom had visited the attraction before, but if it was
shorter would also be able to serve more guests by having an
increased number of performances per day. In The Country Bear
Vacation Hoedown many of the bears are costumed for their own
vacations as is Big Al in the post card featured above on the
right.
Below, we have the two Baloo and King Louie views released in
this series. The card on the left is the same card that we saw at
the beginning of this chapter, the card that had a very similar
standard size card issued in the pervious series that was from
the same photo session even. This card at least is from a
different photo session, how can I be sure of that? Look at
Louies feet to the inside of both his feet in the left shot, (our
left not his) you can see one toe set far back on the foot, in
the other shot (on our right) you can see there is no toe there,
so, obviously Louie had his toenails clipped before this session.
Right?
